What are the requirements to become a Notary?

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must U.S. Citizen or a Green Card Holder( Permanent Resident).
  • You must be a legal resident of Florida.
  • You must complete a 3-hour education notary course. 
  • You must be able to read, write, and understand the English language.

Florida notary commissions are valid for four (4) years.
